A Message from our Director
Unlike Punxsutawney Phil I haven’t been hibernating here at the Chamber.
It’s been a busy few months. I’ve been working on the new Directory with Axtell Designs, pulling together articles, photos and new ideas. It’s my first directory and I want to be sure that I provide the Members with quality work.
In the mists of all that, I’ve been promoting the Members Plus program with the help of Joyce Duffy, of Harford Family House. The program is a great way to promote your business, support local and buy local. The best part is the added bonus to all of your employees at little to no cost to you. If you haven’t had a chance to attend any of our latest Business card exchanges, you’ve missed great events. It’s a chance for the local businesses to open their doors and network with the community. If your business would like to do the same, just give me a shout. We’ve found that it’s a chance to cross a business threshold without obligation. The events are brief, educational and open to Chamber Members and their employees! There are no fees, just benefits.

Members Plus Program
Who can participate: Any active member can be part of the program
What is the benefit and what does my business need to do: The benefit is the opportunity to be a more predominate business in the community, create an offer that’s exclusive to Chamber members and their employees’ and offer this benefit to your employees at little to no cost to you.
When does the program run: 1 year program starts March 2012.
Where does the program take place: In all participating businesses that are part of the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce.
Why should I sponsor: This will drive clients to your business, increase traffic and conversion rate, increase customer base and ultimately sales.
How will it be communicated: Websites, announcements at Chamber events, value added benefit to your employees, bragging rights at chamber events when you have visitors, change the promotion as often as you like. All Chamber Businesses will be given a card to duplicate for their staff and show at time of purchase. It is also a way to encourage new businesses to join the Chamber and expand our network.
What does it cost: Annual fee $50
